Mrs. George Blosser was buried at Patterson Sunday. She was a lady of the most estimable Christian character and lived to the ripe age of 80 years. For the past number of years she had enjoyed the comforts of the home of her son, Samuel Blosser, where she died. Her husband preceded her to the grave three or four years.

Mrs. Blosser, widow of George Blosser, died on the 12th inst. at her home east of Patterson and was buried on last Sunday in the cemetery north of Patterson.

Mrs. Blosser was 80 years of age the mother of C. H. Blosser and Sam'l Blosser of this place. She was an old and respected resident of this township and was followed to the grave by a large procession of mourning friends and neighbors.

The funeral sermon was preached in the Methodist church in Patterson by rev. Ewan, of St. Charles, who gave a very appropriate discourse on the occasion.
