Mr. Rufus Davisson, of this city died at his home Wednesday morning, after a tedious illness. He had been a resident of this county a good many years, but we are not informed how long. He has always been esteemed an upright, honorable citizen, kind-hearted and amiable in domestic and personal life.

Mr. Rufus Davisson died yesterday morning. He was an old settler here and respected by all who knew him. We will be pleased to publish an obituary of this good citizen next week.

Note: Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
