It was reported on our streets Thursday morning that old Mrs. Coakley, living with I. S. Longnecker, was dead. She was an old resident here, and was well up in years. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at Union chapel. Mr. L. is her son-in-law.

Mrs. Coakley, a lady 80 years old, who lives with her son-in-law seven miles southeast of town, died the 9th and was buried the 10th. We have no particulars of the death.

Note: Burial was made in the Clark cemetery.
