A daughter of Mr. Shepherd, who lives on the Watt farm, in Madison township, died Sunday night. The remains will be taken to Iowa county for burial, where the family formerly resided.

Miss Carrie Sheppard, aged about fourteen years, who has been sick with consumption for some time, died Monday morning. The remains were taken to Iowa City for burial. Carrie was a pleasant child, and though a resident among us but one year, was beloved by all who knew her. We deeply sympathize with the bereaved family.
