CALEB HOCKEL, Osceola

Caleb James Hockel, 13, of Osceola died July 21, 2008, at his home.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 25, at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola with Danielle Grace officiating. Burial was at Moon Cemetery in rural Macksburg. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

Caleb Hockel was born Jan. 11, 1995, in Ames to Roger R. and Kathleen Lynn (Scrivner) Hockel. He recently completed the seventh grade at Clarke Middle School in Osceola.

He was preceded in death by his father and his grandfather, Edward Dale Scrivner.

He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Hockel of Osceola; four sisters, Elisa Haymond of Osceola, Emily Haymond of Garden Grove and Beth Ann and Jessica Hockel, both of home; two brothers, Joshua and Jordan, both of home; and his grandparents, Betty and Dean Chaney of Osceola and Dale and Gloria Hockel of Norwalk.
