KENNETH BROWN, Missouri

Kenneth Paul Brown, 68, of Cabool, Mo., died July 25, 2008, at his home.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 29, at the Cabool Christian Church with Brother Bob Martin officiating. A celebration of Ken’s life will be held in Patterson, Iowa, at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Cabool Christian Church, P.O. Box 318, Cabool, MO 65689. Arrangements were handled by Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home in Cabool.

Ken Brown was born June 11, 1940, in Winterset to Eugene Paul and Esther Mae (Douglas) Brown. He grew up and attended school in Patterson. His marriage to Shirley Rustan took place in 1964. Ken lived much of his life in the Winterset area, working in high rise construction in Des Moines. In 1990, he was united in marriage to Penny Poe Naumann. In March of 2005, they moved to Missouri. Ken accepted Christ as his Savior and was baptized on May 26, 2007. He was a member of the Cabool Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Penny, of Cabool, Mo.; two daughters, Tammy Brown of Truro and Michelle Tish of Carlisle; a stepson, Wade Naumann of Charleston, S.C.; three brothers, Jim Brown of Des Moines and Bob Brown and Ron Brown, both of Patterson; and three granddaughters and four step-grandchildren.

Ken grew up and lived in the Patterson/Winterset area much of his life. Ken passed away July 25th in Cabool, MO. We would like all his friends and family to get together for a special remembrance.

August 24th, 1:00 – 3:30 P.M.
Patterson Community Building
Lunch will be provided.
