Eva Marie Stevenson died Jan. 8 at Iowa Methodist Hospital at the age of 81. She had lived in Madison County all her life.
Mrs. Stevenson was born on Dec. 30, 1899, the daughter of Frank and Clara Cummins Clark. She was a granddaughter of Ruth and Caleb Clark, early Madison County pioneers.
On June 1, 1934, she married Charles Stevenson in Winterset.
During her life, she was employed as a punch press operator for C.E. Erickson Co.
Among her survivors are a step-daughter, June Baker of Valparaiso, Ind., eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers and a sister.
Services were held on Jan. 10 at 11 a.m. at Collins Funeral Home. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery with Rev. David Livingston officiating.
