St. Charles and Roundabout

James Marion Lee, whose decease was mentioned in Friday’s issue, was one of the old settlers in this part of Iowa. He was a veteran of both the Mexican and the late wars. During the later he was severely wounded, from which time until his death he continued to suffer for his country. He was a pensioner at a limited rate, but had been refused an increase. He was buried in the cemetery at Blair Chapel on Friday afternoon. A large number of relatives, friends and neighbors were in attendance.
