HARVEY L. CAMP Buried Thursday

Harvey L. Camp, a well-known farmer of the St. Charles community died Monday, Jan. 12, at his home near St. Charles. He was 64 years of age. His death followed a few weeks of failing health.

Mr. Camp was a native of Nebraska, where he was born at Plymouth on Jan. 9, 1895. As a small child he was brought to Clarke county, Iowa, where his early life was spent. He was a veteran of World War 1, and a member of the St. Charles VFW post. His church membership was at Madison Chapel Church of Christ, near Murray.

On July 11, 1918, he was married to Dorothy Martin at Camp Dix, N.J. They had lived at their present home since 1937.

Surviving are his wife and the following children: Marvin M. Camp of Albia, Marion K. Camp of Yakima, Washington, Mrs. Helen Armstrong of St. Charles, Daniel H. Camp of Wallace, Indiana, Evelyn and Marilyn Camp, who are teaching in Marshalltown, Glenn Camp, who teaches in Greenfield and Robert Camp, who is farming at home.

He also leaves a brother, Marvin J. Camp of St. Charles; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Carter of Murray, Mrs. Susie Kirk of Lorimor and Mrs. Estella Kirk of St. Charles and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held last Thursday from the St. Charles Christian church, conducted by Rev. Marlin Love. Burial was made in Union cemetery near Murray.
