LEW MCDONALD, Des Moines

Services for Lew McDonald, 40, Des Moines, who died of cancer Wednesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, was Saturday, July 24, 1985, at Staves Memorial United Methodist Church. Burial was in Winterset Cemetery in Winterset.

Mr. McDonald was born in Waterloo and lived most of his life in Des Moines. He worked for Chicago and North Western Railroad. He was a member of Staves Memorial United Methodist Church, where he was youth coordinator, Carman Union Local No. 71, and he was scoutmaster of Boy Scouts of America Packs No. 58 and 2.

Survivors include his wife, Colleen, three sons, Jeff, Mary, and Troy, all of Des Moines; his mother Velma McDonald of Winterset; and a brother, Gaylen of Troy, Mich.
