Mrs. Joseph Crocheck, life-time resident of the Winterset community died Saturday, Oct. 4, 1947, after an extended illness. Her death occurred at the Nona Blair home here, where she had been since July 8. She was 51 years of age.
Mrs. Crocheck was born Sept. 17, 1896, near Winterset. She was the former Burdie S. Bush, daughter of R. F. and Margaret Bowman Bush. She was married Nov. 28, 1916, to Joseph Crocheck. They adopted two children, the present Orval Crocheck and Mrs. Vada Rush.
In addition to the two children, she is survived by her husband; her father; two brothers, George Bush of Creston and Clifford Bush of Oregon; and a number of half brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held Monday from St. Joseph's Catholic church, in Winterset, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. J. J. Judge. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
