October 8, 1947PAUL CASH Dies at Veterans Hospital
Paul J. Cash, Linotype operator on the Winterset Madisonian for the last several months, died Sunday at the Veterans hospital in Des Moines. He was 47 years old and had been in ill health for some time.
Mr. Cash was a native of Anamosa, where his early life was spent. He was a graduate of the college of law at Creighton university in Omaha. For a number of years he was editor of the Anamosa Journal, and also practiced law in that community.
His survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Spence of Cleveland, O., and a brother, Charles Cash, who is postmaster at Anamosa.
Funeral services and burial were to be held at Anamosa this Wednesday.
