Rites Held for IRENE DICK, 47

Irene M. Dick of Des Moines, a former resident of Winterset, died Sunday, May 11, 1975 at the Des Moines General Hospital. She was 47 years of age.

Irene Mae Dick was born near Lorimor on May 13, 1927, the daughter of Earl H. and Elsie Winkler Smith. She was married to Earl Wallace (Wally) Dick at Winterset on June 4, 1944.

Mrs. Dick was affiliated with the First Christian Church of Winterset. She had been employed by Employers Mutual Insurance Company for the past five years.

Survivors include her husband, Wally Dick of Des Moines; and two sons, Earl Marvin Dick of Fort Dodge and Michael Allen Dick of Osceola. Also surviving are her mother, Elsie Smith, two grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Keith (Betty A.) Sawyers of Winterset.

Mrs. Dick was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 14 at the First Christian Church in Winterset with the Rev. Eldon E. Jandebeur presiding. Burial was in the Winterset Cemetery.
