GLENN COFFMAN, Winterset

Graveside services for Glenn Coffman, 57, Winterset, who died July 5, 1985, at the Madison County Memorial Hospital, were held at Winterset Cemetery with the Rev. John Shaull officiating. Military graveside services were also held.

Born in Dallas County June 1, 1928, he was the son of Simon and Julia Thomas Coffman. He was a warehouse supervisor with Farmland Industries in Des Moines and a former service station operator in Winterset.

Mr. Coffman had lived in Winterset 40 years and was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He had served 12 years on the Winterset fire department and coached local baseball teams.

On March 3, 1950, he was married to Evelyn Kile in Winterset, who survives. Other survivors include a son, Jeff of Winterset; and a brother, Vernon Coffman of Sheldahl.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
