From Truro

Word was received here today of the death of Mrs. Ellis, living south of Truro. Mrs. Ellis is Mrs. William Fenimore’s mother. Mrs. Ellis had many friends in this vicinity, who will hear of her death with sorrow.

Prairie Grove

The remains of Mrs. Ellis were buried in Ebenezer cemetery December 11th. She died at her home in Madison county, near the county line. She was 78 years old, and had lived in this locality since they early settlement of Madison county. She was a Christian woman and passed away with the Christian’s hope of life eternal.
