Bill P. Palmer, 87, died May 22, 2008, at Colony Oaks Car Center in Appleton, Wis.
Burial of the cremated remains will be conducted in Earlham Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements were handled by Fargo Funeral Home in Kaukauna, Wis.
Bill Palmer was born Nov. 4, 1920, in New Sharon to Alfred and Anna Palmer. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving for 20 years. Following his retirement from the service, Bill worked for the United States Post Office for 15 years, retiring in 1981. His marriage to Fannie Faux took place Oct. 15, 1986, in Adel.
He is survived by his wife, Fannie; his children — Jaye Shawnese, Mark Palmer and Bruce Palmer; his stepchildren — Kelly Bartolac, Mike Benge and Mark Benge; a sister, Shirley Corkrean; and 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
