Thelma M. Crabbs Hall, age 80, died at Manor Care Center in West Des Moines on April 23, 2008.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday April 26, 2008 at Bear Creek Friends Church with burial in the Bear Creek Cemetery.Thelma was born June 14, 1927 near Guthrie Center, Iowa.
Thelma is survived by her daughters: Linda (Tom) Hubbard of Adel; Virginia (Harold) Weber of Madison, IN; Christine Hall of Des Moines; three grandchildren: Nicole (David) Cupp of DeSoto; Steven Weber of Madison, IN; Jessica Hubbard of Adel; brothers Donald Crabbs of Des Moines and Verne (Elaine) Crabbs of Earlham; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, and a sister in infancy.
Visitation will be Friday April 25, 2008 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Kuhn Funeral Home in Earlham, where the family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Page 2Funeral services were held for Thelma May Hall at 10:00 a.m. on April 26, 2008 at Bear Creek Friends Church of Rural Earlham, Iowa. Pastor Charles D. Lathrop and Pastor Rex Stancil officiating.
Pianist was Juanita Coulter. Special music was “Where The Roses Never Fade”, “Love Lifted Me”, and “When They Ring The Golden Bells”.
Pallbearers were Verne Crabbs, Donald Crabbs, Gary Crabbs, Reggie Crabbs, Rickey Crabbs, and David Cupp.
Thelma May Hall was born the daughter of Ladosky and Elsie (Cook) Crabbs near Guthrie Center, Iowa on June 14, 1927. She died at Manor Care Center in West Des Moines on April 23, 2008 at the age of 80 years, 10 months and 9 days.
Thelma was married to Frank Hall from October 1949 until 1960, and to this union was born three daughters: Linda, Virginia and Christine.
Thelma attended Bear Creek County School and graduated from Linden High School in 1945. She worked as a nurse’s aid in nursing homes and home care. She enjoyed playing the piano and would often play for the church. She loved to spend tie with her family and friends.

She is also survived by three grandchildren: Nicole (David) Cupp of DeSoto, IA; Steven Weber of Madison, IN; and Jessica Hubbard of Adel, IA; two brothers, Donald Crabbs of Des Moines, IA and Verne (Elaine) Crabbs of Earlham, IA; and many nieces and nephews.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Harold and Lloyd Crabbs, and a sister in infancy.
Interment was held in the Bear Creek Cemetery of Rural Earlham, Iowa. Kuhn Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.
