WILLIAM D. FISHER

William D. Fisher was born in Baltimore, Md., Nov. 21, 1850 and passed to his eternal reward April 7, 1916, age 65 years, 4 months and 16 days.

He came to Iowa in 1873 and settled in Madison county. He was converted and joined the Fairview M. E. church in 1876. In 1875 he was united in marriage to Miss Mary E. White. To this union were born three daughters, Mrs. Ella Brand of Indianola, Miss Kate Fisher and Mrs. Flo Shields of this place. He with his family moved to DeSoto In 1891, where he has since resided.

He leaves to mourn his loss, aside from his wife and daughters, three grand children and a host of friends who are comforted with the thought that he fully resigned to the will of his Master.
