Lawrence Palmer Dies at 61 Years

Lawrence Palmer, a former resident of Winterset, died Sunday at Clarinda. He was 61 years of age.

Mr. Palmer was born in Lorimor, but lived in Winterset most of his life. He worked as a musician, but had been retired recently.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lila Green and Mrs. Anne Jacobs, both of Des Moines, a sister, Mrs. Hannah Duff of Winterset; a brother, Clarence Palmer of Earlham; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held this Wednesday from Hamilton’s Funeral home in Des Moines, with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens cemetery there.
