A Fatal Fall
S. H. Holderbaum, of Penn Township, Killed by a Fall from a Tree.

Solomon H. Holderbaum of Penn township, was engaged in trimming a tree last Friday afternoon, and when near the top, slipped and fell to the ground, receiving injuries that caused his death. He lived until about midnight, when he died, after much suffering.

Mr. Holderbaum belonged to the well known Holderbaum family of Penn township, where he had lived for the greater part of his life. He was a man approaching middle age, and being the youngest son of the family, lived upon the home place after most of the other members had moved away. He leaves a number of brothers and sister, but no family. He was a man of excellent character and had the respect of a large acquaintance, and his tragical death is a cause of great grief to all who knew him.

The funeral service was held at Dexter on last Sunday afternoon.
