John Freiberg Dies at 58 Years

John H. Freiberg of Winterset, a resident of Madison county the last five years, died Saturday, Feb. 12, at Memorial hospital here. He was 58 years of age.

Mr. Freiberg was born at Grimes Sept. 18, 1913, a son of H. N. and Regina Seibert Freiberg. He was married at Winterset on Oct. 30, 1948, to Gladys Snodgrass. Her death occurred in 1961.

He was a member of the Lutheran church, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. Freiberg is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Waltz of Winterset, Mrs. Hazel Freiberg of Norwalk, and Mrs. Cleo Janssen of Des Moines.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Winterset post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Burial is to be made in Ft. Rosecrans National cemetery in San Diego, Calif.
