MRS. ELIZABETH WALKER

Mrs. Elizabeth Walker was born in Clark county, Indiana, Jan. 10, 1830 and died Oct. 16, 1917, aged 87 years, 8 months and 6 days.

She was united in marriage to Fredrick M. Walker, Oct 14, 1849. In 1855, with her husband, she removed to Madison county, and settled in the Pleasant View community, where she spent the remainder of her life. There were five children born to this union, three girls and two boys. The husband and three daughters have preceeded her in death. She is survived by two sons, nine grandchildren and 16 geat grandchildren.

When quite young she was converted and united with the M. E. church, living a faithful, consistent, Christian life.

The funeral services were held in the Pleasant View M.F. church Oct. 18th, in the presence of a large concourse of sorrowing friends and relatives, and was conducted by Rev. Andrews of Macksburg. Interment was in the Plainview cemetery.

The following acted as pallbearers, Wesley Eivins, Mack Busch, E. E. Hatfield, J. A. Hart, Arch Wight and H. H. Finney.

Interment was in the Pleasant View cemetery.
