Andrew Applegate died Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs Ed Chase of Douglas township, with whom he had made his home for the past several years.
Funeral servies were held Monday and burial at the Stringtown cemetery. One brother, Benton Applegate of Woodlake, Nebr is the last survivor of the David Applegate family, who settled in what is known as the Stringtown neighborhood in Douglas township in an early day.
Mr. Applegate suffered a stroke of paralysis some years ago and since that time had been in very frail health.
