MRS. GUY DRISCOLL

Mary Catherine Driscoll, daughter of Henry and Eunice Ives Hayner, was born in Worcester, Otsego county, New York, Aug 1, 1856 and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Vesta Davis of Des Moines, Nov. 25, 1921, at the age of 65 years, 3 months and 25 days.

She was married to Guy C. Driscoll of Victoria, Ill. Oct. 24, 1877. To this union were born six children, five of whom survive her. Charles R. Driscoll preceded her in death Jan. 16, 1914. The surviving children are: Etta M. Perkins of Mallard, Alva L. Driscoll of Van Meter, Carlton H. Driscoll of De Soto and Mrs. Veta E. Davis of Des Moines. She is also survived by her husband, Guy C. Driscoll; four brothers and three sisters: D. B. Hayner of Wheat Ridge, Colo; Truman Hayner of Portland, Ore; J. I. Hayner of Mallard, Mrs. Emma Hipps of Albia, Mrs. Eliza Davis of Lovilla and Mrs. Rachel Devine of Stillwater, Okla.

She became a member of the Lutheran church of Worcester, N.Y., early in life and after her marriage, she transferred her membership to the Congregational church of Victoria, Ill. After coming to Iowa, she again changed her membership and united with the M. E. church of Van Meter. Mrs. Driscoll was a quiet, lovable woman, being high esteemed by all with who she became acquainted.
