Dorothy E. Trent, 93, of Winterset died Feb. 11, 2008, at Winterset Care Center South.
No services are planned at this time. Her body has been cremated and burial of the cremated remains will take place at the Morrisburg Cemetery near Panora. Memorial contributions may be directed to Middle River Hospice in Winterset. Arrangements were handled by Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset.
Dorothy Trent was born March 21, 1914, to Erie Oliver and Flossie Mae (Calvert) Harden. In 1936, she married Dwayne D. Trent. She and her husband farmed in Boone and Dallas counties until they retired in 1979. Following retirement, Dorothy made her home in Mountain Home, Ark., until 2003, when she moved to Winterset.
She was preceded in death by a son, Roger Trent; an infant daughter, Patricia Trent; a brother, Warren Harden; and two sisters, Ruth Connolly and Pauline Kennedy.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Patsy Warner of Council Bluffs; two grandchildren, Laura Eymann of Phoenix, Ariz., and Andy Trent of Nebraska; and four great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter-in-law, Patsy Warner of Council Bluffs; two grandchildren, Laura Eymann (Kirk) of Phoenix, AZ and Andy Trent (Julie) of NE; four great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; two sisters-in-law, Kitty Harden of Omaha, NE and Bonnie Hennen of Panora; one brother-in-law, Lawrence Connolly of Omaha, NE and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Warren Harden; two sisters, Ruth Connolly and Pauline Kennedy (Bill); an infant daughter, Patricia Trent and a son, Roger Trent.
