GLADYS MORRISON, WINTERSET

Gladys L. Morrison, 76, of Winterset died Feb. 3, 2008, at the Perry Health Care Center.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 7, at Murdock Funeral Home in Perry with the Revs. Kevin and Susan Blader officiating. A memorial has been established in Gladys’ name.

Gladys Morrison was born Oct. 6, 1931, to Howard L. and Bertha (Gottschalk) Denman of Minburn. While living in Minburn, she was a member of the Minburn Christian Church. Her marriage to Rex Morrison took place in 1952. They resided in the Minburn area until 1967, when they moved to Winterset. Gladys also worked for Allied Insurance for one year.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Denman.

She is survived by her husband, Rex, of Winterset; one daughter, Linda S. Armstrong of Winterset; four sons, Mike L., Terry W., Dale G., and Glenn L., all of Winterset; a brother, Harold Denman of Minburn; four sisters, Dorothy Walker of Des Moines, Carol Randall of Mesa, Ariz., Phyllis Dumstorff of Minburn and Diana Bristol of Davenport; and three grandchildren.
