Death of REV. S. J. MALONE

Reverend S. J. Malone, who was a former pastor of the Winterset United Presbyterian church, died last Saturday, September 24th, 1927, at his home in Gibson. Mr. Malone was the pastor of the United Presbyterian churches at Gibson and White Oak. The deceased had the flu a year and a half ago, and he had never fully recovered. However, an attack of heart trouble Saturday afternoon caused his death.

Funeral services were held at the U.P. church in Oskaloosa, Monday, September 26, and burial was made there.

He is survived by his wife, one son, who resides in Chicago, a son, Dolph, who attends Penn college in Oskaloosa, and a daughter, Mrs. Lucile Stewart of Oskaloosa.
