MAY GRAHAM

On last Friday the funeral services of Miss May Graham were held in the United Presbyterian church at Patterson.

Miss Graham was a daughter of the late Rev. John Graham, who was at one time pastor of the United Presbyterian church of Winterset and whose remains rest in the cemetery at his place.

Miss Graham was born in Delaware county, N. Y. June 30, 1845 and at the time of her death which occurred February 14, 1899, she was at the home of her brother in Birmingham, Van Buren county, Iowa. As it was her request she be laid beside her father at Winterset, the remains were brought on to Patterson, to the home of her sister Mrs. Mary Bird. After the services at the church the remains were brought to Winterset for burial.

Miss Graham had been a life-long faithful and consistent member of the United Presbyterian church. She has gone to be with her Master whom she faithful served. Her aged mother and several sisters and brothers, one of whom is Rev. J. D. Graham of Quimby, Iowa, survive her.
