MARCIA GIFFORD, CUMMING

Marcia Gifford, 75, of Cumming died Feb. 2, 2008, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Cumming Community Church with Pastor Laine Wilder officiating. Burial of the cremains will be at Peru Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before service time on Saturday. Memorials may be directed to the Cumming Community Church. Arrangements were handled by Collins Oak Park Chapel & Funeral Services in Winterset.

Marcia Gifford was born Dec. 27, 1932, to John and Rita (Wilson) Cregar of Dexter. Her marriage to William Leslie Gifford took place July 16, 1955 in Des Moines. A resident of Cumming since 1995, Marcia had been a homemaker and member of the Cumming Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Bill, of Cumming; one daughter, Rita Carr of Winterset; a brother, John Cregar of Casper, Wyo.; and three grandchildren.
