Death of Ruth Tompkins

Little Ruth Tompkins died Sunday morning after several weeks of most severe illness. Her recovery had been despaired of some time ago, and the little sufferer was spared pain during the final days, being unconscious. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church on Monday afternoon at two o'clock and the little one's body laid to rest in the Winterset cemetery. Deep sympathy for the bereaved ones is felt in the community by many friends

and mother, the brothers and sisters: Iva, Edward, Mabel and Vernon and all other relatives and friends are commended to the care of the Heavenly Father.

Funeral services were conducted Monday from the Methodist church by Rev. D. J. Shenton.
