Services Held for Former Resident

Funeral services and burial were held in Nevada, Iowa Saturday for Willard Vaughan who died of an apparent heart attack at his home Thursday September 26. He was 56.

Mr. Vaughan was born in Madison county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Vaughan. He attended school here, graduating from the Winterset High School. He served in the United States Army and in recent years had lived in Des Moines and Nevada.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, two sons, three sisters; Mrs. Alice Clark and Mrs. Lawrence White of Winterset and Miss Lenore Vaughan of Fort Dodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Agnes and Emma, and a brother, Arthur.

Mrs. Alice Clark, Mr. and Mrs. L. J. White, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Clark and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Clark attended the services Saturday.
