Winterset Madisonian-Winterset, Iowa
June 29, 1911

Mrs. John Clement died at her home on Thursday morning at two o'clock. She had been quite sick for several days and her death was not unexpected. The funeral was held at the Baptist church Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Spooner. The W.R.C. had the funeral in charge at the church and the cemetery. Mrs. Clement was the mother of ten children, four of whom died in infancy. Mrs. Tressie Huston was the only daughter who was unable to be present, the others, Mrs. Geo Huston, Mrs. Hugh Shear, Mrs. Bert Harrison, Mrs. Moore and Ina Clement and her husband are left to mourn her loss. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community.

Note: Buried in the Moon cemetery.
