Obituary

Died, Jan. 1, 1893, Sarah Charlotte, wife of Henry Mockerd, and daughter of Henry Fudge, aged 21 years, 3 months and 24 days.

About five months ago Mrs. Mockerd was attacked by quick consumption, which gradually brought her down to her grave. She leaves a bereaved husband and two young children to mourn her early departure. She was a member of the United Brethren church. Among her last words to her friend were “I am going home.” The funeral services were held at Blair Chapel, conducted by Rev. G. K. ------.

Note: Burial was made in the Blair Chapel cemetery. Gravestone death date is January 1, 1892. Last name is spelled Mackrill.
