Mr. Tom. Moore, of Lincoln township, was found dead in the field Tuesday, where he had been at work, mowing we believe. As he did not return at the proper time, search was made and his dead body found. He was 75 years old, or more, and had been troubled with an affliction of the heart which probably caused his death, though it might have been the effect of sun stroke. Mr. W. H. Berthlof of Des Moines, a former neighbor of Mr. Moore, informs us that when in conversation with him last Saturday he expressed a feeling of presentiment that he would not live long. The funeral was on Thursday.

Last evening Coroner Martin was called to the farm of Thomas Moore of Lincoln township who was lying dead in his field. Mr. Moore who was a man of about 70 years of age, went out in the morning to mow and about 3 o’clock in the afternoon his body was found, having apparently been dead since 9 o’clock. There was no indication of death from any but natural causes. Mr. Moore had lived there and we believe was a widower. He was a brother of John H. Moore of this city and Peter Moore, of Lincoln township.—Winterset Review.
