Obituary

Died, Wednesday, September 21, at 2 p.m., of malarial fever, Orville Clair, infant son of William M. and Flora H. Cook, aged 1 year, 9 months and 20 days. Orville was a bright and affectionate child, the very darling of the house. Thus the most lovely flowers are being transplanted to God’s Paradise above. How he will be missed; but he has accepted the dangers and sufferings of earth and is resting in heaven.

Mr. Cook was in Edmunds County, Dakota when called home by the sad intelligence, and arrived but a few hours before the loved one was laid to rest. Many friends sincerely sympathize in the sorrow of the afflicted parents.

Note: Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery. Transcribed as published, name on gravestone appears to be "Orvell".
