MRS. DORA MURPHY OF ST. CHARLES DIES

Mrs. Dora F. Murphy of St. Charles died Thursday July 28 at Clarinda. She was 81 years of age.

Mrs. Murphy was born in Illinois on March 10 1885, a daughter of Fred and Annie Koch Wagoner. She lived in Missouri until 1914. Madison county was her home since that time. She was a member of the St. Charles Methodist church.

She was married in 1909 at Lurray, Missouri to Wilbur Murphy who survives her. She also leaves two daughters, Mrs. Mary K. Strable of Denver, Colorado and Mrs. Bertha Wilcox of Commerce City; and two sons, Kenneth and Fred Murphy, both of Winterset. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday from the St. Charles Methodist church conducted by the Rev. James Louk. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
