Lavona Lowden Funeral Saturday

A resident of Madison County most of her life, Lavona C. Lowden died Thursday, October 16, 1975 at Madison Manor North Nursing Home in Winterset. She was 80 years old.

Mrs. Lowden was born September 30, 1895, in Adair County, Iowa, the daughter of Aaron Linn and Capitola Wight. She was married to Earnest E. Lowden March 7, 1916 in West Star, Iowa

A housewife Mrs. Lowden was affiliated with the Methodist Church.

Surviving Mrs. Lowden is a son, Clarence Lowden of St. Charles, Iowa, two grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Faust of Mt. Ayr.

Preceding Mrs. Lowden in death were her husband on July 25, 1963 and her parents, three sisters and one brother.

Funeral services for Lavona C. Lowden were conducted Saturday October 18, 1975 at 1:30 p.m. from Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, the Rev. Paul Bousfield officiating. Burial was made at the Winterset cemetery
