Memorial services for Lamar Easley, a long-time Dexter resident, were held Sunday, June 12, 2005 at the Prairie Center Church at Yale.

He died Tuesday, May 17 following a lingering illness. His body was cremated and burial was in the Prairie Center Cemetery.

Lamar Arlo Easley, 86, died Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at Mercy Central in Des Moines. He is survived by his wife, Ruby and son, Jim. His body has been cremated and no services have been planned.

Note: Lamar Easley farmed south of Dexter in Penn township, Madison County, Iowa.
