Calvin Palmer, an old resident of Winterset, died very suddenly Thursday morning, of heart disease, as it is supposed. Up to Wednesday night he had been in his usual health, which was excellent, and he was about town in the evening. About three o'clock in the morning his wife heard him breathing heavily, and failing to arouse him, went out for help, and when she came back he was dead. He had lived in Winterset 35 years, it is said, and made a living by teaming and day labor. The funeral will take place to-morrow at 3 o'clock, from his late home.
