Funeral services for Francis Davis Goldman, 7-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Goldman of St. Augustine, Florida, were held from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home in Winterset last Friday. He had died in Des Moines the preceding Wednesday.
The boy was the grandson of Rev. and Mrs. L. F. Davis of Winterset, his mother being the former Francis Davis.
The Rev. H. L. Olmstead was in charge of the funeral services and burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
The boy was born and spent his entire life in Florida, until several months ago he was stricken with leukemia and was brought to the Methodist hospital in Des Moines.
In addition to his parents and grandparents, he is survived by a sister, Phyllis, and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Davis or Buster Goldman known by his friends, was a friend to all people he met, especially to older people. He was well liked by all with whom he came in contact. Although his life was sure it was well lived.
During his illness of seven months, three of which were in the Methodist hospital at Des Moines, he was always cheerful, never complaining and always a smile and thank you to those who cared for him.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Goldman, one sister, Phyllis, his grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. L. F. Davis, Winterset; Mr. and Mrs. M. Mindlin, Long Beach, New Jersey, and other relatives.
He died at Des Moines Wednesday, November 27 of leukemia, age 7 years, two months and 10 days. His entire life had been lived in St. Augustine, Florida.
Funeral services were conducted at the Ramsey-Richards funeral home by the Rev. H. L. Olmstead. Burial in Winterset cemetery.
