On the afternoon of the 14th, the remains of Mrs. W. W. Wise, the aged mother of P. S. Wise, of this city were laid to rest in the St. Charles cemetery. The deceased had been a patient sufferer for many months. With her husband and son she came to this city a number of years ago and by her good qualities earned a host of friends.
The funeral occurred from the home, conducted by Rev. Graham of the M. E. church.

Mrs. W. N. Wise died last Thursday morning from general debility and paralysis. The funeral was conducted at the residence by Rev. Graham of the U.P. Church on Friday after which her body was consigned to the resting place in the cemetery just west of the city.
