St. Charles

On Wednesday morning a number of friends went to Hanley to meet Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Winter, of Irwin, Iowa, who were former residents of St. Charles and Ohio township, to assist them in burying in our cemetery their four months old babe, which died on Saturday.

The infant baby of Mr. and Mrs. J. E Winter, who reside in Harlan, was brought here Monday for burial. Mr. and Mrs. Winter were once residents of our city and in this their sad bereavement the sympathy of friends attends them.
