Page 4DEATH OF JOHN VAN SCOY
John Van Scoy, two and a half year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Van Scoy died Sunday morning at the hospital at Woodward. The little fellow became ill, shortly after birth, and had not been well since that time. He would have been three years old, July 26th.
Rev. R. C. Cully, pastor of the Presbyterian church, conducted private funeral services for him at the Tidrick Funeral home Monday afternoon, May 28th, at 4 o’clock and burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
Mr. Van Scoy is a federal bank examiner, and has been stationed in Chicago, recently, and Mrs. Van Scoy has been with him. They arrived here, Monday noon, and remained here, for several days, with her mother, Mrs. Harry Tidrick.
