THEODORE FRIBERG DIES

Theodore Friberg, aged Madison county resident, died last Friday, September 8th at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harve Mapes. Mr. Friberg who was 85 years of age, was the son of Frederick and Bertha Friberg and was born in Germany in 1855.

He came to America with his parents at the age of three years and with the exception of a few years spent in Montana, lived the rest of his life in Iowa.

He was married to Ida May Wight on Aug. 28, 1879 and they were the parents of three children, two of whom have preceded him in death. His wife died Aug. 3, 1892.

Mr. Friberg is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Alice Mapes, five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He also leaves three brothers and two sisters.

The Rev. J. H. Cochrane, Jr., conducted his funeral services at the Neil Anderson Home for Funerals, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock and burial was made in the Wight cemetery southwest of Winterset.
