Mrs. Jane Wight, widow of the late Theodore Wight, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Cherry on Sunday morning. She had been in feeble health for some time, death resulting from old age.

Funeral services were held from the home on Monday forenoon, conducted by Rev. MacDonald of the Presbyterian church.

Mrs. Theodore Wight Dead.

Mrs. Theodore Wight, nee Jane Fillingon, who died in this city Sunday, was an old resident of this county. She was born in Edinburg, Scotland in 1819 and was educated at the famous college of Edinburg.

She lived for a time in Ohio, where her father was instructor in language at a college. She moved in 1860 to Winterset, where she was married in 1876 to Theodore Wight. She died early Sunday morning having been a sufferer from severe illness for some time.

She was buried on Monday, December 23 at 10:30 a. m., the funeral services being conducted by Dr. Charles English.

Mrs. Wight was highly respected and leaves many friends.
