By a private letter from Oskaloosa we learn of the death of Miss Mary Way, formerly of this place, which occurred March 31st in that city. Mary had hosts of friends in this vicinity who will receive the sad intelligence with sorrow and pain. The family have the full sympathy of their many warm friends of their former home.

Note: Mary was born Sept. 4, 1849, died, March 25, 1879 and is buried at the Forest Cemetery, Oskaloosa, Ia.
