Mrs. Albina Jane Phifer of Macksburg died at the hospital in Winterset, November 27th, at the age of 62 years.
Mrs. Phifer was the former Albina Jane Whitworth, and was born in Madison county, on May 15, 1873. She affiliated with the Methodist church at the age of 17, and remained a faithful member throughout her life. She was married February 8, 1925 to L. E. Phifer. All her life was spent in Madison county except for a few years on a farm in Union county.
She is survived by her husband and three brothers, Frank of Clarinda, Reuben and Byron of Macksburg.
Funeral services were held November 30th at the Methodist church in Macksburg in charge of the Rev. M. D. Summerbell. Burial was made in the Macksburg cemetery.
