Albert Beerbower, the eldest son of G. A. Beerbower, of Lincoln township, who formerly lived there with his parents, died last Sunday in the insane hospital at Clarinda. He had lived for some time in Des Moines, where he was a trusted employee of the Des Moines Insurance Company, and was finally promoted to be secretary. It is thought that his health was injured by close application to his work, and when he took the girppe during the epidemic the disease unsettled his mind and made him violently insane.

His funeral was held in Des Moines last Wednesday, after which the remains were brought to Winterset on the evening train and laid in the cemetery.

He leaves a wife and two children. Mr. Beerbower has been sorely afflicted of late years, his wife and daughter having died in quick succession something over a year go, and this additional sorrow will make him, the object the deep sympathy of all.
