Death of An Old Resident of Winterset

We hear of the death at Enterprise, Kansas, on the 25th ult., of Mrs. Eliza Scott, widow of Dr. J. S. Scott, formerly of this city. Mrs. Scott was a sister of G. T. and J. S. Darnell, of this place.

Dr. Scott will be readily remembered by the older citizens. While here he built the stone residence property now occupied by Mr. T. J. Hudson. His father, also a physician, was a citizen of this city, and in the late fifties and early sixties lived on East street, or Gospel Ridge.
