Died on the 23rd. inst., at the home of his parents in Winterset, Albert C. Baldock, aged 17 years, 3 months and 20 days.

He had been confined to his bed only a week, his illness being caused by a severe cold which developed into a complication of diseases, including carbuncle and erysipelas of the face, pleuro-pneumonia and congestion of the lungs.

His sufferings were intense in spite of all that loving care could do for their alleviation.

The funeral which was largely attended was held last Tuesday at the home, Rev. Chesley Holmes of the Baptist church and Rev. H. C. Herring of the Presbyterian church, officiating.

The bereavements of this family have been many and severe and the parents are almost completely prostrated by this new sorrow.
